If you don’t have much space you can consider making a compost bin from the plastic storage that is a very easy project and give you finished compost within three months. Important equipment/tools include drill and sharp drill bit, plastic storage bin, Kitchen scraps, yard waste, shredded newspaper, and other compos table materials plus hardware cloth. To make a self-storage facility you have to select a Plastic bin that should be no smaller than 18 gallons and prepare the bin by drilling holes throughout the container. Space holes and drill on all sides of the container and if your holes are large, consider lining the interior of the bin with wire mesh or hardware cloth to keep out rodents. Position the bin by putting it outside the door near your area so that you can easily compost kitchen scraps.
Fill the bin by adding Leaves, weeds, fruit and vegetable peels, eggshells, coffee grounds, tea bags, and grass-like Whatever you add to your composted should be chopped fairly small, so it will break down quicker. If the content is smelly you should add some shredded fall leaves, shredded newspaper, or sawdust to the bin. By keeping it well maintained you would be able to restore the ration of green to brown that will speed the development very easily and quickly. If the contents are very dry, use a spray bottle to moisten them. Or add several moisture-rich items, such as fruits or veggies that are past their prime. After a few months, the compost would be ready to use. The easiest way to harvest the finished compost from your bin is to run it all through a simple compost sifter. If you experience a warm compost shows that the composite is working efficiently.
